Families, looking for a professional AuPair in 2010:
Looking for Preschool teacher, Pediatric Nurse
Special Requirements: Infant Qualified - Au Pair must have experience with infants, needs to be very patient and comfortable around infants, loving, caring and responsible person, good driver
Additional Information: Our family consists of C, (3.5 years old), K, (42 years old), and S (42 years old). S and K both work full time professional jobs, which is the reason we need someone to assist us with care of the children. We are a gay couple that has already adopted 1 child and we are expecting our second child, a girl in the end of July. We would like to welcome an Au Pair into our family to become a full member of our family but also our Au Pair needs to feel comfortable and accepting of living with a gay couple. The most important thing for us is honesty and following our methods in working with the children. If you choose us, we'll try to incorporate you in family activities if that's what you want. We live in Maryland, a large suburb located 30 minutes from both Washington D.C. and Baltimore.

Looking for Preschool/kindergarten teacher
Special Requirements: would like an Au Pair that has experience working with multiple children. Also she has to be flexible, loving and caring and has to be patient.
Additional Information: Our kids have a lot of energy and hence we need an au pair who has the same. We need somebody who will keep them safe while keeping them entertained. The twins currently go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am-3:00pm. We try to keep them on a schedule and they are usually up in the morning around 7:30 and and go to bed around 9:00pm. They also take a short nap during the afternoon. As I am currently not working, I like to participate in their activities. However, I also manage the home front and pursue personal interests. We are looking for someone to help us with day to activities with the kids and be a member of the family. The working hours will include evenings and some weekends.

Looking for a Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Preschool teacher
Special Needs: Speech delay
Special Requirements: need help on the weekends as well, particularly during the mornings and late afternoons
Additional Information:
We attend church every Sunday morning at First United Methodist Church. You are welcome to join us; however, it is completely optional. I only thing that I do ask is for you to be open and accepting of all the different religions, as that is the belief I share with my children – acceptance. My children are very active, but also very loving and affectionate. After reading this short novel, my au pair is actually simple to describe. She is someone who will love and care for my children as if they were her own. I believe in honesty, integrity, and open communication. Never hesitate to come to me if you need to ask a question or if you need some help.
